A safari is the vast and dense Chitwan National Park atop a trained Asian elephant is an exotic experience. This is a perfect way to see the one horned rhino and the famed Royal Bengal Tiger.The park is home to some of the most endangered animals on earth. This is perhaps one of the most wonderful sanctuaries in the world due to its dense nature and numerous animals living safely in the remote parts of the jungle. The one horned Rhinoceros, Tiger, Leopard, different species of wild cats, Asian elephants, sloth bear, gaur, wild boar, Two types crocodiles, rhesus monkeys, pythons and the king cobra find shelter in this beautiful park. There are also about 350 species of birds which includes peacocks and eagles living here.

You can have the pleasure of riding the tamed Asian Elephant and explore the Jungle. A jungle safari is almost incomplete without an elephant back ride. You will have an opportunity to see the wonderful one horned Rhino which is perhaps one of the most endangered species in the world. Canoes are also available across the Rapti River. You can see fresh water dolphins and crocodiles this way. But there's no need to worry because the crocodile will not attack you unless provoked. You will also be offered a lot of other activities like jungle walks and bird watching. The best time to explore the area is early morning or late afternoon. You will be advised to not wear any bright colored clothes to provoke these animals.
